Claude Cowork extends Claude Code's agentic model beyond coding to general knowledge work¶
Insight: Anthropic launched Claude Cowork (research preview, Jan 2026) described as "Claude Code for the rest of your work" — bringing agentic capabilities to non-coding tasks. This validates the thesis that Claude Code's workflow patterns (plan mode, parallel sessions, CLAUDE.md context files) are applicable far beyond software development. Stulberg's article reveals Boris Cherny (Claude Code creator) uses the same patterns for non-coding work, and Cowork's release the day before her article confirms the trajectory.
